The 2023 edition of Lucca Comics and Games will be held from Thursday, Nov. 2 to Sunday, Nov. 5, and will focus on the theme "Together," with a message that aims to unite in differences.

It is a theme that is told in the Lucca Comics and Games cover image, developed by Israeli-born brothers Asaf Hanuka (cartoonist) and Tomer Hanuka (illustrator).

Guests of the 2023 edition will include:

• Naoki Urasawa: manga artist capable of beautifully telling the complex facets of the present through visionary works;
• Jim Lee: cartoonist and writer. After launching Marvel, he founded Image Comics and then joined DC Comics;
• Don Rosa: successful author in the world of Disney comics;
• Bruno Bozzetto: animator, cartoonist and director. Author of many masterpieces, including "West and soda."

Joe Manganiello and international talents Peter Adkison, Kelley Sleagle and Rob Daviau will be present as "ambassadors."

Events at Lucca Comics and Games 2023 include the exhibition dedicated to Dino Battaglia, a landmark in illustration and comics.

As for animation, space will be given to Enzo D'Alò with the screening of his latest feature film, Mary and the Midnight Spirit.
